The DTS is six months that can change your life! It's designed intentionally to help you to know God better, to develop personal character, and then to live a lifestyle of making God known to others. It aims to help you exercise faith while cultivating a living, intimate relationship with God and identifying your unique gifts and life callings.

The DTS is also a great time to make new friends from around the world as you live
and learn together in community. Cross-cultural exposure and global awareness
are special emphases during the school, preparing you to go and "make disciples
of all nations" (Matthew 28:19). DTS is only the beginning.

It is the entry way into further involvement with YWAM, qualifying you for hundreds of staff opportunities and many other YWAM training programs. Join us for the adventure of a lifetime! You will never be the same again.


Course Content:

     Topics covered during the school may include:

• Hearing the voice of God
• Developing a personal devotional life
• Character and ways of God
• Identity in Christ
• Relationships
• How to study the Bible
• Evangelism and cross-cultural missions
• Biblical worldview
• Spiritual warfare & intercession
• Team building

Lecture phase:
The 12 week lecture phase will include various types of learning opportunities. The course content will be given through formal lecture times, small group discussions, assignments, worship & intercession times, living together with others in community, work duties, social events, and more. Opportunity will be given to you to learn through creative and diverse ways. Emphasis will be placed on how to practically apply what you are learning through your daily life, growing your personal relationship with God, and developing Christ-like character.

Outreach Phase:
During the 8 week outreach phase students get to take the Gospel to the nations. As you apply the things you have learned during the lecture phase, you will get a chance to see the transforming power of God’s love first hand not only in your own life but in the lives many others around the world. Our schools travel to various different countries around the world. For right now our outreaches are focused on Latin America and/or Asia - China, Thailand and beyond.
